South African rapper Hechichamunorwa Mount Zion Kwenda -- better known as Mizchif -- has died at the age of 38.

According to a report from eNCA  a friend of the rapper George 'KGB" Beraushvili said that while the cause of his death was unknown, Mizchif collapsed on a bus en route to Zimbabwe where his family lived. KGB said he was working with the artist on a current project entitled 'Still a legend'.

Mizchief is often credited as one of the best rappers to come out of the country. One of his most famous tracks being 'A Place For A Wife', which features the late songbird TK Mhinga.

He had been out of the limelight but was still active in the underground hip hop scene.
