Join other viewers this coming Sunday, 23 August, on at 6:30PM to get a glimpse into the fascinatingly creative world of one of South Africa’s talented fashion designers.

Ever wondered if there’s a fun side to the man behind the tough business exterior and creative David Tlale is? Well, you’ve come to the right place.

In his eyes the world of fashion cannot be seen in isolation from the entertainment industry.  David treasures God, family values, friendship ties and team work.

Originally from Vosloorus, David remembers how his tough upbringing has always motivated him to achieve more. We meet his mother and he speaks about the gap left by growing up without a father figure in his life.  The fierce businessman spends most of his time in his Maboneng precinct office conceptualising designs with his team. He presents an airline uniform range to his client and celebrates his new perfume range with friends.

Tlale, an internationally recognised South African designer, is famously known for having the wildest location shows. He recently showcased at the New York Fashion week with renowned model Tyson Beckford. He also dressed Beyonce’s mother, Tina Knowles and presented the BET Global Good Award at this year’s BET Awards.

As we roll with David Tlale, we are reminded about how discipline, creativity and professionalism can be the key pillars of one’s success. Gracefully embracing his challenges, trials and successes, David never forgets to take on minute to thank God for all the good and the bad life brings him.
