Take a stand against child and woman abuse

McAuley House is taking a stand against women and child abuse. The school in conjunction with Nelson Mandela Children's Fund and Moral Regeneration Movement have organised a march through the street of Soweto as part of an initiative called Kwanele Kwanele

The march which will have scholars, teachers and many residents of Soweto will start at the Methodist Church in Central Jabavu to Moroka Police Station to present a memorandum of understanding. The march shall proceed to Regina Mundi Park where a formal programme shall take place.

" The march is open to all, it is a pre-launch to a huge march which will take place in August," says coordinator Wendy Neervhort.

Johannesburg mayor Park will be present at the march, Gauteng premier Nomvula Mokonyane and Deputy President of SA Kgalema Motlhante have also shown support for the march.
