The members have been suspended.

During President Zuma's budget vote members of opposition party EFF were forcibly removed by Parliamentary protection officers after they started shouting and causing chaos.

The removal ended up in exchanges of fists between the members and the protection officers.

After the altercation, the National Assembly suspended the EFF from Parliament for five working days.

"In terms of the Rule 53A (A), you are automatically suspended for the period applicable, as provided for Rule 54," National Assembly speaker, Baleka Mbete, said in a letter to the party.

"You may not enter the precincts of Parliament for the duration of your suspension," it read.
