Autotune king T-Pain has recently taken a shot at the late R 'n B songstress Aaliyah.

T-Pain was at a listening session to debut his new single, Girlfriend, which features Aaliyah's vocals when he took a swipe at her memory and legacy. In short a video shot at the session, the crooner plays the track to a small crowd and thereafter begins to comment on his collaboration with the deceased star. "Nobody is good enough because she passed. If she was still alive, then everybody would’ve been like, ‘Oh! She’s tryna be Beyoncé!’ If she were still alive right now," the autotuner said. Behind the camera lens, the crowd boos him and shouts, "What do you mean?" To save face, the artist replied: "I’m not trying to discredit Aaliyah in any kind of way. But you know how sometimes when people die–yeah. You know how somebody’s an a**hole their whole life, but when you go to their funeral it’s like ‘This guy was the greatest man that ever walked".

We're not really sure if we agree with the T but check it out yourself and be the judge:
