Watch as Ajax Amsterdam and Bafana Bafana midfielder Thulani Serero explains why he is not disappointed about making the Bafana Bafana AFCON squad.

Ajax Amsterdam's Thulani Serero does not seem disappointed to have not made the Bafana squad that will be vying for the African champion's title.

When he was asked if he was disappointed to not have made the cut for Bafana in an interview for Ajax Amsterdam's television channel, he simply responded, "nah, not really".

He then goes on to explain that "all my is focus is here", referring to a mid-season training camp being held by his team in Qatar.

Serero seems to have never been interested in making it to the squad.

Business Day reports that instead of making it to the squad's mini training camp that Bafana Bafana coach, Shakes Mashaba, had organised for Boxing Day, Serero was spotted at the Discovery Walter Sisulu Challenge in Soweto.

His exclusion from the squad is speculated to be as a result of him missing the training camp.

The 24-year-old seems to be more interested in his club's race for its domestic championship title as they are currently second on the Eredivisie league table.
