Listen to the audio: SAPS says it did not arrest Mcebo Dlaimini

The South African Police Service (SAPS) says it did not re-arrest #FeesMustFAll student leader Mcebo Dlamini on the morning of Wednesday 16 November, and it has wasted time and resources today trying to locate where the alleged arrest took place.

SAPS spokesperson Brigadier Sally de Beer says the claims were made as an attempt cast the South African Police Service in a negative light by an individual or individuals who clearly have an agenda.

De Beer told DRUM that it is investigation the source of the claim and they will decide there after what action to take once they have the relevant information.
