Former Zone14 actress Sma Mathibeli Mbatha recently launched her own restaurant Unique Cafe, in Durban and as expected some of Mzansi's A-list celebrities shared in the festivities

Selimathunzi presenter Sihle Vazi told us that he was happy to be there, because “I’m here to network and also to celebrate Sma's achievement, as I believe one should always do something that you are passionate about and that's exactly what she's doing”.

Actress Ntando Duma, who had her bae known only as Tunya in tow, said she is happy with her new relationship, because, “he does everything to make me happy and we’ve been dating for nine months now”.

Uzalo actor Khaya Dladla said he like going out and experiencing different food, so he will frequent the restaurant. “I cook at home, but I like going out more, because I get to experience different food,” he told us, adding that people don’t know that he’s been in the industry for 18 years now and I’m working on my music, as well as doing theatre work and radio”.

Sma, who was full of smiles, told us that when she met her husband Calvin Mathibeli, who is also a businessman, they shared the same vision, which is why they ventured into business together. “Even as an actor you are a business person, because you freelance and need to budget wisely, so owning a business is not new to me. I have a communications company, a construction company, a security company, as well as a consulting engineering company,” she told us.
