Turmeric Noodles with a Sweet & Sour Pork Rump Steak, with an Apple and Red Cabbage Slaw side

  • 225g Turmeric Noodles-
  • 10ml Teriyaki sauce-
  • 10ml Sweet Chilli sauce-
  • 150g Pork Rump Steak-
  • 1 Apple-
  • 1/4 Red Cabbage-
  • 2tb Mayonnaise-
  • 5g Sun-dried Tomatoes


  • Preheat the oven to 200 degress Celcius.
  • Bring water to boil.
  • Add a pinch of salt to the water. Add tablespoon of olive oil.
  • Put in the turmeric noodles. Cook till al dente (12 to 15 minutes).
  • Refresh and drain.
  • Heat oil in a suitable pan.
  • Sear the meat on both sides.
  • Put the pork rump steak in the oven for 15 - 20 minutes.
  • Grate the red cabbage and the apple into a mixing bowl.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise and mix well.

N.B!It's wise to marinate the meat overnight!! Sun-dried tomatoes are for presentation.
