Atchar crumbed pork neck with sweet soya mayonnaise

This Atchar Crumbed Pork Neck with a sweet soya mayonnaise is a #JustDelicious power player packing punch and crunch.

Ingredients

Spicy crumbed strips

2 packs Eskort Fresh Pork Neck Steaks, sliced into strips

500ml (2c) bread flour

250ml (1c) atchar

250ml (1c) amasi

oil for deep frying

Salt to taste

Sweet soya mayo

250ml (1c) creamy mayonnaise

15ml (1T) soya sauce

15ml (1T) apricot jam

1 garlic clove, finely chopped

Method

Spicy crumbed strips

  • Combine the salt and flour in a mixing bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the atchar and amasi.
  • Coat the pork neck strips in flour, then in the atchar mixture and back in flour.
  • Deep-fry the pork strips until golden.

Sweet soya mayo

  • Add all the ingredients to a small mixing bowl and whisk well.
  • Serve the mayo on the pork neck strips or as a dip on the side.
