2 cloves garlic, minced

5ml (1t) dried parsley

2,5ml (½t) dried oregano

pinch of salt

pinch of freshly ground black pepper

65ml (¼c) cream

200g mozzarella cheese, grated

To Serve

fresh Italian flat leaf parsley, to garnish

  • Heat the olive oil in a large ovenproof frying pan.
  • Add the gnocchi and cook, stirring frequently, for about 7-8 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • Remove from the pan and set aside.
  • Add the beef sausages to the pan, and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove the sausages from the pan and set aside.
  • Add a little more oil to the pan if needed and add the diced tomatoes, garlic, parsley, oregano, salt and pepper.
  • Bring to a simmer. Return the gnocchi to the pan.
  • Stir in the cream and cook a few minutes more until everything is heated through.
