Hot dog nuggets with sriracha mayo

Hot dang! We’ve turned hot dogs into bite-sized nuggets, with a bit of a zing

Ingredients

1 packet Eskort American Hot Dogs Gourmet Regular

1 roll puff pastry

200g mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced

1 egg, beaten

250ml mayonnaise

30-45ml sriracha sauce

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Cut the American Hot Dogs into 3-4 pieces (depending on the size you want) and set aside.
  • Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into 2cm wide strips, then cut the strips into thirds.
  • Wrap each piece of American Hot Dog with a piece of mozzarella cheese and then a strip of puff pastry, pinching the ends to secure. Repeat until all the hot dogs are wrapped.
  • Place the wrapped hot dogs on a greased oven sheet and brush each one with egg.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden.
  • Mix the mayonnaise and sriracha sauce in a bowl and serve with the warm hot dog nuggets.
