Trio of tasty ham sarmies

Three tasty flavour combinations take these simple, open ham sarmies to new levels of #JustDelicious!

Ingredients

500g Eskort Chopped Ham Roll, thinly sliced

6 slices of ciabatta bread

Sarmie 1ham, avo and cucumber

olive oil for drizzling

125ml (½c) thinly sliced cucumber

1 avocado, thinly sliced or mashed

45ml (3T) chives, chopped

juice of 1 lemon

salt and freshly ground pepper

Sarmie 2: Ham Pomodoro

olive oil for drizzling

2 large tomatoes, sliced

45ml (3T) basil pesto

zest and juice of 1 lemon

salt and freshly ground pepper

125ml (½c) feta, crumbled

Sarmie 3: Spicy Ham And Cream Cheese

15ml (1T) English mustard

125ml (½c) cream cheese

1 green chilli, finely chopped

1 red onion, thinly sliced

handful of mixed salad leaves

olive oil for drizzling

salt and freshly ground pepper

Method

Sarmie 1

  • Lightly drizzle two slices of ciabatta with olive oil.
  • Layer the ham, cucumber, avocado and chives on each ciabatta slice.
  • Season with the lemon juice and salt and pepper.

Sarmie 2

  • Drizzle two ciabatta slices with olive oil and toast in a hot, dry pan until golden on both sides.
  • Marinate the tomato slices with the basil pesto, lemon juice and zest, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Layer the ham and marinated tomatoes, finishing with the crumbled feta.

Sarmie 3

  • Lightly drizzle two slices of ciabatta with olive oil.
  • Combine the mustard, cream cheese and chilli in a small mixing bowl and spread generously onto the ciabatta slices.
  • Layer the onion and salad leaves, finishing with the ham slices.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
