North West ANC welcomes new members

2014-04-14 21:03
Johannesburg - The ANC in the North West has welcomed over 100 new members from other political parties, it said on Monday.

The new inductees into the ANC were from the DA, Agang SA, Congress of the People, and the Economic Freedom Fighters, provincial secretary Dakota Legoete said in a statement.

"The recent reception bares testimony that the ANC lives and still leads."

The new members were welcomed into the ANC at Kopela village, in Tswaing local municipality, on Saturday.

He said despite those from other political parties saying otherwise, the ANC provided new members with a harmonious working environment.

"For the coming weeks the ANC will continue to win the hearts of masses and prove to its people that their votes were not in vain," he said.
