San Francisco - An avid fisherman has been reunited with his camera eight months after dropping it into a canal, after a woman retrieved it from around the neck of a cormorant, according to a report by Canadian broadcaster CBC.The photo files on the camera's flash drive were still intact, and the woman was able to track down the camera's owner by posting pictures on Facebook, the report said.Karen Gwillim of Saskatoon, capital of the Canadian prairie province of Saskatchewan, told the broadcaster that she approached the cormorant when she saw the waterfowl had a shiny silver object around its neck, and that the bird did not resist when she removed it."It had this silver camera kind of dangling from its neck," she said. "I think he was relieved to have something that heavy removed. He seemed all right."According to the report, a friend of the camera owner recognised the pictures, which included snap shots of a wedding and the fishing trip on which the camera was lost.
