This big cat has managed to confuse the internet after camouflaging itself on a snowy slope.

Photographer Ingo Gerlach, 66, from Betzdorf in Germany captured incredible images which show the Siberian tiger hidden behind the snowy trees.

The graphic designer snapped the photos while visiting Bear Park in Orsa in Sweden earlier this month.

"The tiger walked around in the huge open-air area and sat down far up along the slope," Ingo said. "It was hard to see him ... Until he moved again and approached me. It’s a sublime feeling to experience this noble and rare predator so close."
