WATCH: One week after Hurricane Florence - fears of coal ash leaks and 'lagoons of hog waste'

North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper says "treacherous floodwaters remain" one week after Hurricane Florence crashed into the Carolinas.

In addition to fears of flooding, the area is at risk of environmentally devastating pollution from industry such as coal ash from a dump and potential 'lagoons of hog waste".

Areas near the coast are at risk of renewed flooding - even for some homes that have been spared up to now.
