Cape Town – Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes split after six years together. E! News confirmed the news just days after Jamie was spotted with singer, Sela Vave.

The recording artist took to Instagram sharing people have called her a "slut" and "homewrecker", but says it doesn't matter to her. "I'm out here to work and do what I love most," she captioned a video post of Jamie commenting on their rumoured romance. Sela wrote, "Here is the TRUE story."
Instead of "scandal chasing", Jamie said the press should've dug deeper.
The actor explained Sela is, in fact, one of the artists he's mentoring, and people only assumed they were dating because he was seen walking the 21-year-old – which he points out is the same age as his daughter – to the car from the studio.
Referring to when he took Nick Cannon and Ed Sheeran – who even slept on his couch – under his wing, he said, "It's a double standard when it comes to women.
"When it was the guys, everything is cool, but when it was the woman they try to make it something else, but we are going to try to protect our own," he explained.
"I spoke to that girl's mom, and she put her trust in me. So we want to make sure that she has the opportunity to show you she's talented," he continued.
