A happy marriage

Discuss what affects your family and do it meaningfully. Most family discussions are interrupted or nullified by television. People prefer to eat in front of the TV than at the dinner table.

When I was young my parents used to bring us together, sit in a cycle and my mom and dad would take turns telling us stories. This brought unity not only to us as children but to mom and dad as well.

When last did you and your spouse have a meaningful discussion where major decisions were made? Solve difficulties together rather than independently. Pray together.

It has been proven beyond doubt that a family that prays together sticks together. Use the consultative approach to a decision making rather than the isolationist approach. "I am the man its may way or the highway."

Don't refuse advice on family issues because you are angry with your spouse because anger will leave but the decision made will linger on forever. Love, Love and Love your spouse this is what you have been mandated to do.
