Centurion man arrested for killing parents

A man has been arrested for allegedly killing his parents in Valhalla, Centurion, Gauteng police said on Monday.

The 35-year-old man was arrested on Saturday in Boksburg North, on the East Rand, said Captain Agnes Huma.

He allegedly killed his parents, aged 49 and 58, in their home in Centurion on Friday.

A 30-year-old friend of the man was also arrested in Boksburg North, on Friday, for possession of an unlicensed firearm and a vehicle belonging to the man's parents, said Huma.

Both men would appear soon in the Pretoria Magistrate's Court.
