Chocolate squares

Makes about 40

1 packet Marie biscuits

250g margarine

250ml icing sugar, sifted

75ml cocoa, sifted

2 eggs

Pinch of salt

Grease a 20cm x 30cm dish. Break the biscuits into small pieces. Melt the margarine and take off the heat. Add the icing sugar and cocoa, and mix well until smooth, making sure there are no lumps. Beat the eggs and add to the mixture, stirring until well mixed. Add the salt and biscuit pieces, and mix well. Spoon into the prepared dish and spread evenly. Refrigerate until set. Cut into squares.
