Win with Coca Cola and Move!



  1. This Promotional Competition is organised by Coca-Cola South Africa, a division of Coca-Cola Africa (Proprietary) Limited, and 34 Degrees South marketing (collectively “Promoters”).
  2. The promotional Competition is only open to permanent residents and citizens of South Africa over the age of 18 years in possession of a valid South African Identity Document, except any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant or any person directly or indirectly who controls or is controlled by the Promoter and/or immediate family members of any employee, director, member partner, agent or consultant of or person indirectly or directly in control or controlled by the Promoters, their advertising agencies, advisers, dealers, suppliers and Bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to The Coca-Cola Company, its affiliates and/or associated companies (“Disqualified Persons”).
  3. By entering the promotional competition, all participants agree to be bound by these rules which will be interpreted by the Promoter, whose decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, modify, change, postpone, suspend or cancel this promotional competition and any prizes (which have not yet been subject to a draw), or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason which the Promoter reasonably deems necessary.
  4. The promotional competition commences on 4 August 2014 and ends on 31 October 2014 (“Closing Date”) both days inclusive.
  5. There are a total of 48 (forty-eight) Home Spotter’s Happy Sundays visits to be won (“Grand Prize”). All participants over the age of 18 years, stand a chance to win 1 (one) of these. The Home Spotter’s Happy Sundays Prize will consist of the following:

5.1     Lunch at the Participants home with a famous South African soapie star:

5.1.1   The 3 soapie stars are:          Keketso Semoko          Cynthia Shange          Connie Chiume

5.1.2   The 4th celebrity who will be used as a backup should one of the 3 celebrities (above) not make a shoot is Joyce Skefu

5.1.3   The Celebrity will be allocated according to Promoter discretion, the Participant may not select which Celebrity they are visited by.

5.2     A kitchen appliance set and delivery to the value of R10 000 (ten thousand Rand).

5.2.1   This prize includes a Samsung Fridge, a Russell Hobbs toaster, Sunbeam oven rotisserie, Samsung Microwave and 12 pack of Coca-Cola glassware.

  1. To stand a chance of winning one of the Home Spotter’s Happy Sundays house visits (“grand prize”) participants must:

6.1     Purchase 1.25L Returnable Glass Bottles or 1.5L refundable REFPET bottle of Coca-Cola from any participating outlet;

6.2     Dial *120*2653# and enter the last four digits of the product barcode at a cost of 20c (twenty cents) for every 20 (twenty) seconds (Free minutes and SMS bundles do not apply);

6.3     Follow the text promot and

6.3.1   Choose or fill in which area within that region they’re from

  1. The Promoter will conduct 8 (eight) randomized draws every week between 14 August – 2 October 2014 to determine the winners. In order for the particular entry to be confirmed as valid, Promoters will call the possible winners and conduct a Promotional Competition verification process. Winners will be asked to complete and submit an information disclosure agreement and indemnification as well as supply their ID number over the phone to enable the Promoter to ensure compliance with these rules and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Should any winner refuse or be unable to comply with this rule for any reason, such winner will be deemed to have rejected the Prize and it shall revert back to the Promoter.
  2. Each week after the randomized draw and verification process takes place the promoters will compile a shortlist of finalists after which the promoters will determine who will qualify to be awarded with the celebrity home visit. This will be up to the discretion of the Promoter and their decision shall be final. Shortlisted finalists who are visited at home by the promoters will not necessarily be awarded as grand prize winners or appear on the TV show.
  3. Prize images on the POS material are used to represent the prizes for promotional purposes, and might differ from the actual prizes awarded.

10. There will be a total of 48 (forty eight) shows. Due to the importance of correct geographical representation of the country, participants that fail to provide the Promoters with their correct region and area they live in as required on the USSD system will be disqualified.

11. The geographical regions and areas within the regions that the 48 shoots will take place over the promotional period, will be determined by the production schedule set out from 24 August to 12 October. Winners will be required to be present on the date and at the location as determined by the Promoter.

12. Out of the 48 (forty eight) shoes that the promoters will shoot only 40 (forty) shows will be broadcast from Monday to Friday SABC 1 and eTV

13. The shows that will air on TV are entirely up to the discretion of the Promoter and their decision shall be final.

14. All potential participants will be contacted telephonically beforehand and must be available to participate in the Home Spotter’s Happy Sundays TV show on the date provided as well as meet a few verification questions before being offered the opportunity to appear on the Home Spotters Happy Sundays TV show.

15. If the Promoter is unable to reach any person or complete the verification process after drawing his/her entry for whatsoever reason, such person will be disqualified and another participant will be contacted under the same terms and conditions. The promoter will phone participants up to 3 (three) times for the verification process, if participants fail to answer thhe phone call after three times, they will be disqualified and the promoters will move on to the next finalist in line.

16. If the Home Spotter’s Happy Sundays film crew arrives at a winner’s house and the winner is not home the promoter is unable to get hold of them, such person will be disqualified and will not receive his prize. Due to the random nature of this promotion and potential winners not being available during the shoot for the Home Spotter’s TV show, it is possible that not all Grand Prizes will be awarded to consumers.

17. Winners will be required to sign an additional information disclose agreement giving the promoter permission to video film, photograph winners and/or their partners and friends to appear on radio, print, television, social media or any other type of media. Should winners refuse to sign this form, winners will be disqualified and the promoter will move on to the next finalist.

18. Participants are only eligible for 1 (one) Home Spotter’s Visit (“Grand Prize”) per household and subject to the following conditions:

18.1    All entries from Disqualified Participants’ cellphone numbers will be rejected;

19. The Prizes are neither transferable nor redeemable for cash and the Promoter is not liable for any defect in The Prizes. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute The Prizes with any other prize of comparable commercial value.

20. The Prizes will be delivered within 14 working days from when the Participant is awarded the Grand Prize.

21. Promoters shall not be responsible for any changes, substitution, withdrawal, cancellation or postponement of any part of the promotion beyond its reasonable control. Promoters are not obliged to award any other prizes in lieu if any such event is cancelled, postponed, substituted, withdrawn, changed or unavailable.

22. Should any dispute arise in relation to the interpretation of these competition rules, the Promoters’ decision shall be final and no correspondence shall be entered into.

23. All participants, winners, and partners, as the case may be, indemnify the Promoter, it’s advertising agencies, advisers, nominated agents, suppliers and Bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to The Coca-Cola Company, its affiliates and/or associated companies against any and all claims of any nature whatsoever arising out of and/or from their participation in any way howsoever in this promotional competition (including, as a result of any act or omission, whether as a result of negligence, misrepresentation, misconduct or otherwise on the part of the Promoters and/or use of the Prizes).

24. All participants shall be given an opportunity to opt-in or opt-out for future promotional material from the Promoter. Opting-in is not a requisite to participate in the promotional competition.

25. Participants may enter the competition up 10 x per day per cellphone number and a maximum of 880 time during the promotion. Provided that the participants purchase the Participating Product each time and complete the Promotional Competition Entry and enter a valid new barcode. Subject to the following conditions:

  1. all entrants must select or enter a region
  2. no computer based entries will be accepted

26. Participants that are unable to enter their data have the opportunittiy to call the Eurocom call center on 011 215 7140 between 09h00 – 17h00 Monday to Friday to validate their entry.
