Earlier this year there were a number of media reports stating that Connie Ferguson, who plays the iconic role of Karabo Moroka, on Generations – The Legacy was going to leave the soapie.

Last Wednesday the story-line saw Karabo starting to losing her grip on things and moving back to London to escape her brewing troubles in South Africa.

Could this have been her exit from South Africa's number one soapie?

According to a recent statement released by the show’s publicity manager Gaaratwe Mokhethi, Connie will be moving on to focus on her other ventures. These included running the highly successful Ferguson Films which brought the much-loved Rockville and now The Queen.
