eduCate – Bringing the Stars to Maths & Science!

eduCate is a nationwide matric Maths and Science revision programme which aims to improve the performance of Maths and Science for schools in the public sector. In its fifth year, eduCate is made up of 10 pre-recorded revision sessions, 5 in Maths and 5 in Science. These sessions cover the entire Matric curriculum and are aimed at preparing disadvantaged South African youth for their Matric Maths and Science examinations.

Learners are transported to the designated cinema venues after pre-registration, they finish their registration process with the cinema hosts on arrival. The 2015 sessions will run from 9 August and will continue to run for 8 Consecutive weeks and it will be run on all ine provinces.

Ambassadors including DJ Sbu, Farah Fortune, Boity Thulo and Jimmy Nevis (who later wowed the audience with a breath-taking performance), members of government and sponsors addressed their guests at the educate launch in Monte Casino.
