Aside from saving you a few minutes in the morning (which you’ll no doubt be using to repeatedly press the snooze button on your alarm clock. Getting your hair braided or safely tucked under a good weave will save it from the extreme weather conditions which might permanently damage it.

  • If you are going to be braiding your hair avoid super thin braids as they break the hair.
  • When getting a weave it’s always better to attach it to a weave cap and not directly onto your hair. Keep your hair comfortably braided underneath the cap and save your hair line.
  • Thoroughly was your hair before getting it styled and make sure you use the appropriate moisturisers for your hair style.
  • Avoid colouring your hair in winter, hair dye dries the hair and so does the winter air.
  • Avoid over washing your hair and stripping it of natural oils.
