Summer is here and we all want these short hairstyles because of the heat. But some of wont be able to flourish because of our hair line problems.

Here are the common causes for a reciding hairline and how you can get back in the game by growing it back

Other causes of breaking hair and thinning hairline include:

Chemicals such as bleaches, perms and relaxers can damage hair. This process can weaken the hair cuticles, causing the hair to break.

Heat styling cracks the hair cuticles

and withdraws moisture, leaving the

hair dry and brittle.

Daily activities, such as combing your hair and sleeping, cause friction

Salon treatment

Masks, oil treatments and hair mayo are the favourites at salons as they repair and nourish damaged hair.

Use a moisturising and nourishing shampoo A hydrating shampoo moisturises

the hair, helping it to grow.

Move! Tip: Don't wash your hair daily as it strips it of essential oils.

Hair conditioner

Using a conditioner once or twice a week will hydrate the hair and protect it against heat.

Move! Tip: Also try to air-dry your hair instead of using a blow dryer that can break your hair.

Wear a scarf when sleeping to protect your hair from rubbing against the pillow.

Thyroid problems and diseases, such as cancer, can cause hair loss.

Avoid pulling your hair too tight when braiding or putting in weaves as this damages it. Stay away from such hairstyles if you suffer from a naturally thin hairline.

Use the right products

Use products specifically formulated to relieve thinning hairline.

Move! Tip: Avoid hair gels after a wash at the salon. These often dry the hair and leave it flaky and brittle
