Join the ‘Pass On Your Stripes’ movement

McDonald’s South Africa’s “Pass On Your Stripes” movement has called on celebrities to join them and support Ronald McDonald House Charities South Africa (RMHC (SA)).

Singer Danny K and his family together with Radio and TV personality Mpho Maboi and National team soccer player, Reneilwe Letsholonyane have joined the movement to help raise awareness of RMHC and also raise funds to build South Africa’s first Ronald McDonald House, which will provide care and comfort to families of children receiving lifesaving treatment at the first Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital.

To raise funds, McDonald’s SA has embarked on a ‘Pass on Your Stripes’ fundraising drive by selling Ronald McDonald red and white stripped socks at selected McDonald’s restaurants across the country. The socks are on sale for R20 per adult and R15 per chill and will contribute to the building and opening of the Ronald McDonald House™ in 2016.

12 months till the launch of Africa’s first Ronald Mcdonald house. The Ronald McDonald House with 28 en-suite bedrooms that will accommodate up to 68 people per night. The House will include facilities such as a kitchen, dining and living areas, a library, laundry and play areas for children.
