Looks like 2016 is the year South African artists take on the world with their talents.

Recently  AKA was performed in the US and Black Coffee brought  back the BET award home and scored a major feature with Alicia Keys.

Joyous Celebration is the next South African group to represent the country broad. They will record their 21st edition album in Dallas, Texas alongside with TD Jakes’s  The Potter House’s choir.

On July 17 Bishop TD Jakes alongside our very own Ntate Lindelani made an announcement during the TD Jakes’s Sunday morning service in Dallas that Joyous Celebration will record their 21st installment  in December 2016.

Bishop TD Jakes even compared the group’s music to Beyonce’s.

“Joyous Celebration is well known in South Africa, to give you some sort of  concept their music moves as much as Beyonce  over there, they’re gospel artists are great singers that can sing their face off and they gonna be joining in with The Potter’s house choir  for a live recording.”
