The SHOUT team, led up by Danny K and Kabelo Mabalane, have had their eyes set on children’s literacy for a while and have build three libraries through donations. This year they are at it again: the inaugural Light The Night walk aims to raise money to build a container library in Alexandra, Johannesburg.

5000 community activists will walk the streets of Rosebank to 'Brighten a Life'. Light The Night partner and co-founder of SHOUT, Danny K says "Nothing can be  of more importance than to ensure that our children are given the best opportunity to live as productive South Africans in a country that is free of crime and corruption"

Armed with torches the activists will begin their walk at 6pm on the 27th of August 2015 in Bath Avenue outside Rosebank Mall. Their first stop is Craddock Avenue before moving onto Rosebank rooftop for a celebration with SHOUT ambassadors. Entry is via a web portal and it costs R150.00.

Entries close at 12 pm on 24 August
