Fans and supporters of the late gospel star Lundi Tyamara are in for a treat with the surprise release of his legacy project entitled “Legacy”.

The album boasting 18 tracks will be released at the end of March.

It  features four never heard before songs that Lundi recorded before his passing earlier this year.

Fikili Molomo, Jaziel Brothers, Sipho Mbhele and M Siya are some of the artists that are featured on this album.

The album will be released at the end of March.

Lundi's manager Anele Hlazo commented: "The most significant thing is that the four new recordings are the last pieces of work he ever recorded in his entire career. There will be no other new songs you will hear.

“Lundi is irreplaceable and he created his own legacy. There will never be another with a voice like his. I trust that this album will earn its place of pride in every collection because it encapsulates what one of the most distinct voices and talents South Africa has ever produced had to offer the musical landscape."

Proceeds from the sales of “Legacy” will go to his two children Sibonelo, 18, Candy 11 and his family
