The humble giant from Newcastle, KwaZulu Natal South Africa did not take the conventional routes into the music business.

His passion for the entertainment industry saw him starting off as an MC at different events such as weddings and friends parties; through this process he created networks with actors and various artists. One such artist named Zakhele Madida (aka Zakes Bantwini) who offered to record a song with him after noticing his extraordinary talents.

From that moment onwards, L’Vovo never looked back, recording his debut self-titled album which featured the hit track “Bayang's ukela”. He released 5 more albums titled The Teddy Bear, The Heavyweight, Irresistible’, and The Fabulous with the most recent album The Headmaster coming out in 2012 which has received a lot of attention on print, radio and television platforms.

L’vovo has shared the stage with major South African acts such as Ringo Madlingozi, Thandiswa Mazwai, Professor and others. He is a multi-award winning artist who was also nominated for several Channel O Africa Music Video Awards in both 2007 and 2008.

On top of all of this the man has caring heart as well, being an ambassador of the 16 Days of Activism on Violence against Women and Children Abuse Campaign.
