In celebration of Mandela Day, SACOB (South African College of Business) is going to give away 67 bursaries in 67 minutes from 10am until 11.07am.  MOVE! and SACOB are giving away 5 bursaries to lucky readers in support of Mandela Day.

The bursaries are for online short courses worth R5 244 each. You will be able to choose a full Online Classroom Bursary for any one of the SACOB Short Courses starting 24 August 2015.

The top five short courses are:

  • Entrepreneurship
  • Taxation
  • Conference and Events Management
  • Human Resource Management
  • Customer Service and Call Centre Management

The Online Classroom Package includes:

  • All study material (Textbooks and Study Guides)
  • Full access to the Question and Answer Platform where you will be able to view past questions and answers as well as ask all your own content related questions
  • Full access to the Online Classroom where you can find your study maps, study plans, lecturer, lecturer videos, quizzes, forums and have interaction with your peers

Terms and Conditions:  

  • Applicants have 1 entry only – to choose 1 of the 5 courses

  • The Bursary is for 1 of the 5 SACOB Short Courses on offer and is not transferable for cash.

  • The Bursary is valid for the Online Classroom starting 24 August 2015

  • Includes full access to the August 2015 Online Classroom and all study material.

  • Required to provide 3 referrals (friends, family etc. email address and contact details) so they can be notified of future opportunities like this.

  • Must have access to a working computer and an internet connection.

  • Once selected, and before the final winners are announced, you will be required to complete activities within the Online Classroom. 1) Create your student account 2) Login to the Online Classroom 3) Watch the training video 4) Upload a photo of yourself

  • Must participate in the forums and post questions on the Question and Answer Platform.

  • Must connect to SACOB via our social media platforms i.e. ‘like’ SACOB on our Facebook page and follow us on Twitter.

  • Students need to be active within the online classroom. Reports will be pulled weekly, lack of activity or participation for periods longer than 2 weeks without sufficient reasoning will put your bursary under review with possibility of termination of bursary.

  • Bursaries are awarded at the discretion of the College and are not transferable.

  • Your details may be used for publicity or promotional material.
