Katlegong based pastor Mboro was ready to pay R100 000 towards Lundi Tyamara's private hospital fees.

A few days before the gospel artist died Mboro had offered to put the ailing star into a private hospital at his expense.

While Mboro was waiting for Lundi's family and management team to get back to him, Lundi unfortunately passed away.

“I visited Lundi at the hospital, and I spoke to his manager, Anele Hlazo, telling him that I would put down a deposit of R100 000 at a private hospital, and Anele said he would consult with the family and get back to me.  I then phoned him a number of times, and he never gave me the go-ahead,” Mboro told Drum in an interview.

Lundi succumbed to his stomach TB and a liver disease on January 27, he will be laid to rest in his home town this weekend.
