Ugandan rapper Navio first emerged into the music scene with his group Klear Kut in 2000.

The group won a Kora award in 2002 and won Best Hip Hop Group at the PAM awards in 2004. In 2008 Navio embarked on a solo career with the release of the album Half the Legend which featured collaborations with Jua Kali, Bobi Wine, 2Face and Peter Miles.

Two years later he released a second album titled African Hustler Music and participated in One8, a project bringing together well known rappers and singers from all over Africa. The first single by One8 featured Navio alongside American singer R. Kelly and the other One8 participants.

In 2011, he performed at the Channel O Music Video Awardsand was also nominated in the categories Most Gifted Video of the Year, Most Gifted Male Video as well as Most Gifted Hip Hop Video.
