UHURU member, Xelimpilo “Xeli” Simelane, was allegedly kicked out of his townhouse in Midrand, in Jozi!

According to sources, the singer was evicted from his crib for defaulting on rent.

A source said Xelimpilo’s life started going from bad to worse at the end of last year.

Sources at Kalawa Jazmee claimed Xelimpilo’s bosses no longer want to deal with him.

“They were no longer paying for his monthly rental at his posh townhouse in Midrand,” said the source.

An insider at the stable claimed: “Xelimpilo and his girlfriend had a black Christmas as he was evicted from his house in Midrand.

“He spent his festive at his parents’ house in Soshanguve, in Pretoria.

“At some point he went as far as seeking money for lights from Oskido, but Madala refused to help him.”

The source went on:  “Oskido said the only help he could give him was to send him to rehab, so he could curb his addiction as it has already tainted his image.”

Another source said: “The boy is always high. Sometimes he looks like he hasn’t had a bath in days.

“He’s forever squatting around friends’ places ekasi.

“He needs to go back to the drawing board and do what we know him for, which is good music.”

Last year, Sunday Sun reported on a series of Xeli’s misfortunes.

He was accused of bringing the band into disrepute.

This after he had missed several performances due to allegedly boozing.
