Pasta with vienna's, bacon and vegetables

Serves 6

Use any vegetables you have in your fridge for this recipe, such as chopped tomatoes and spinach.

500 g pasta (shells, spirals or bows)

½ packet (100 g) bacon, chopped

1 onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, chopped

6 vienna’s, sliced

250 g (1 punnet) mushrooms, sliced

250 g (1 punnet) baby marrows (courgettes), sliced

Salt and pepper to taste     Method

Cook the pasta according to the step-by-step instructions above. While the pasta is cooking, fry the bacon in a pan until cooked. Add the onion and fry until soft. Add the garlic and vienna’s, and fry until the vienna’s begin to brown. Add the mushrooms and baby marrows, and fry until cooked. Season with salt and pepper. Drain the pasta and mix with the vegetables. Serve immediately.
