Pork and veggie stir-fry

¦ 65ml (¼ cup) sunflower oil

¦ 500g pork steak or chops, cut into strips

¦ 1 packet (500g) ready cut stir-fry vegetable mix

¦ 5ml (1 teaspoon) crushed garlic

¦ 10ml (2 teaspoons) crushed ginger

¦ 60ml (4 tablespoons) soy sauce

¦ Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

¦ 100g peanuts or 100g bean sprouts, optional


Heat oil in a large frying pan. Add pork and stir-fry until brown.

Add stir-fry vegetables, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Stir-fry on medium heat until cooked through for about 20 minutes. Transfer to a warm serving bowl and sprinkle with bean sprouts or peanuts, just before serving.

Move Tip: Most supermarkets have ready prepared or cut stir-fry vegetables. Use any variety that you prefer.
