They say you can’t choose your family but you can choose your friends. The quality of friends that you surround yourself with affects your wellbeing. If you choose bad friends, then you surround yourself with negative influences, and if you choose good friends then the people around you are good for you.

Two people in the Old Testament, who were known as friends of God, were Abraham and Moses. In Exodus 33:11, it says: “The Lord would speak to Moses face to face, as a man speaks with his friend.” We all have different definitions of what a friend is. Some say it’s a person who is there for you through thick and thin, others that it’s someone who knows what you’re going to say even before you say it.
