Tell Me Sweet Something

South Africa's film industry is taking a turn for the better. Tell Me Sweet Something graced our cinemas on Friday, 04 September 2015. Nomzamo Mbatha, who played the character of Moratuwa was indeed the leading lady, her acting skills are on point and she added that je ne sais quoi the story lacked. She owned a book shop in Maboneng and she has hit a writer's block. The love department has not been very good to her either. The leading man Maps Maponyane, who played Nat could have added a bit more emotion and panache into his acting. He was a model who tried to prove that he is more than jst a pretty face....

Akin Omotoso proved to us that the new age kid is where our focus should be, they are not only trendy but are leading South Africa's city of gold's trend path. The story line is predictable but the added touch of the old couples explaining their love stories added an authentic touch to the story line.

Moratuwa and Nat's passionate kisses wanted us to fall and stay in love, their on screen chemistry is to die for, moreover as it has us believing that the South African Film Industry has more to offer.
