The dangers of multiple sex partners

MOST people think that being single means being free to do whatever you want with

your body, including having sex with whomever. Some do it only with their steady partner while others don’t really care if they do it with different people any time.

Vuyani Madikwa, a Cape Townbased psychologist, says in most cases, people who practice abstinence are given labels. “Society labels people who abstain from sex before marriage.

Mostly, it is women who ridicule and make jokes about men who abstain. Society also supports the idea that a single man should try to get into bed with as many women as he possibly can.” He adds that a woman who tries to remain pure until marriage is often seen as someone who thinks she is better than others.

Sex is the most holy and sacred of all the privileges granted to us by our Divine Creator. According to Malachi 2:15, sex is a spiritual Zenoyise John finds out how having multiple sex partners can affect your life  act.

A study by the National Marriage Project states that people, especially women, who have

multiple sexual partners before getting married, report unhappier marriages down the line.

According to Pastor Chris Mkandla, when the physical act of sex takes place, there is also a spiritual union. “Joining yourself as one with a person symbolises the relationship that Christ has with His believers. When done out of marriage, sex symbolises joining with Satan.

It opens the door for demonic possession.” 2 Corinthians 12:21 says, “He that has sex with a prostitute becomes one body with her. And since she has had multiple partners that became one with her, you become one with the people she slept with.”

Pastor Chris adds that the abovementioned scripture does not apply just to prostitutes, it applies to everyone. He says every time a woman has sex with a man, she takes in his spirit and it begins to make her connected to him.

“Each time a man has sex with a woman he releases his life form energy within her, he leaves a part of his information (DNA) in her. This is something that a condom can’t

protect you against because energy is behind the elements of all flesh.”

Pastor Chris adds that another danger of having multiple sex partners before marriage is that many people, more especially men attempt to recreate the sexual exploits of their youth in marriage. “They tend to fantasise about other people while making love to their partners,” he says.

If you have committed fornication or lived an unholy lifestyle, don’t beat yourself up.

Acts 3:19 offers a solution. “Just repent while you still have time. Confess your sins. God is willing to wash it all away.”
