Businessman and legendary kwaito star, Doc Shebeleza, whose real name is Victor Bogopane (43), is ready to say "I do" to his long-time girlfriend, whose name he refuses to

reveal to Move!.

Move! understands that Doc Shebeleza, who is featured on Cassper Nyovest’s new hit single titled Monate So, will be sending his uncles to the family of his baby mama to

negotiate lobola soon.

Move! has learned from sources that the Ebumnandini hitmaker is ready to settle down and take his girlfriend of 10 years as his wife. “Doc Shebeleza told his friends that he wants to take his girlfriend as his wife. He is now talking marriage, and by the look of things, he

will be getting married soon.

He has already spoken to his family that he is ready to settle down, but he is not interested in telling us his girlfriend's name,” says our mole. When Move! approached him about the lobola and marriage on the cards, Doc Shebeleza says, “Eish, people are not trustworthy in this world. But anyway, what you heard about me getting married is true. I am ready to settle down and I have spoken to my uncles so that they can go to my girlfriend's family to negotiate lobola, then I will have a beautiful wedding later.”

Asked about the wedding date, he says, “You will be the first ones to get invited to my

wedding, so relax.”

Through their initiative called African Musicians Against HIV-AIDS (AMAHA), Doc Shebeleza and other artists are continuing with their housing project, where

they build houses for the poor around the country.

The programme, which is in partnership with the provincial and national

government, as well as the SABC, will start to roll out housing in the North West

next month.

Doc Shebeleza says, “We are aiming to build 25 houses in the North West and we are already at advanced stages with the project after the Premier of North West, Supra Mahumapelo, joined us on our good cause of providing homes to the needy.

This is one of many projects that we have done in the Free State, KwaZulu-Natal, Gauteng and Mpumalanga. We are proud to associate ourselves with government and the SABC in our efforts to improve the lives of poor South Africans.”

He says he is proud of what Cassper Nyovest has achieved in his quest to be one of the most sought after entertainers in the music industry. “When Cassper Nyovest recorded the hit song Doc Shebeleza, I was very humbled and proud.

This made me realise that I inspire others, and his rise to stardom has really made me proud," says the Soweto-born kwaito star. "When Cassper recorded Monate So, he asked

me to feature on the song, and I was very happy to be part of it. He is a good person who respects me a lot.

He comes to my house quite often to seek some advice and I am very proud that he is

gearing for greater things in life. He even calls me Grootman. We are like family,” says Doc
