#WomanCrushWednesday: Connie Ferguson

Connie Ferguson is a South African actress best known for her role as the beautiful yet tragic Karabo Moroka on the long-running SABC1 soapie Generations, from the first episode on 4 February.

Connie was born in Kimberley on 10 June, 1970. She is married to Aaron “Shona” Ferguson and has two daughters, Lesedi and Alicia.

According to Connie her most special achievements are being voted one of South Africa's Ten Most beautiful Women (1993) by Cosmopolitan Magazine, featuring in David Dodd's Portraits of South Africa's Most beautiful Women (1997), and appearing on the cover of many local magazines including True Love, Ebony, Tribute, Drum and Pace.

In 2013 she produced and starred in the Mzansi Magic drama series Rockville. She was one of the celebrities to compete in the sixth season of the SABC3 reality competition Strictly Come Dancing, also in 2013.

A woman with many talents , Connie is a loving mother and a devoted wife but she doesn’t stop there. She is also an actress, businesswoman, producer and model. So that makes her our #WomanCrushWednesday for the week.
