President Jacob Zuma’s legal adviser Michael Hulley could face a law suit.

This after Trade union Solidarity said the guilty verdict against mining company Aurora on Thursday could pave the way for civil charges to be brought against him.

The judgment of the High Court in Pretoria found the directors of Aurora Empowerment Systems, including President Jacob Zuma's nephew Khulubuse Zuma and former president Nelson Mandela's grandson Zondwa Mandela, guilty of stripping the assets of the liquidated Pamodzi Gold's mines.

The ruling legally and automatically allows for civil charges to be brought against Hulley, who was involved in the company at the time the offense was committed.
