President Zuma cleaned house on Tuesday by kicking some cabinet members to the curb and replacing them with newer, shinier models.

Richard Baloyi, Dina Pule and Ben Martins were among the losers.

Graciously, he thanked his outgoing ministers for improving South Africans' "quality of life..."

But he was about to give them the boot so we know he really meant...

It was the end of the line for former  Minister Of Human Settlements, Tokyo Sexwale, who probably went home to reshuffle his liqour cabinet. That's what you get for being overly confident at Mangaung, Tokyo. We imagine he felt a little like this:

It was a shock to us all that Angie Who-Needs-Textbooks-Anyway Motshekga kept her place as Minister of Basic Education.

Although, let's face it, we're sure she was as surprised as the rest of us:
