Berning Ntlemeza-A fit and proper appointment as Hawks boss?

2015-10-21 09:55
It goes without saying that the Hawks is the premier crime and corruption fighting agency of the SAPS.It also goes without saying that the Head of the Hawks must be a person with integrity and honour.
Lets look at certain facts though.
In 2012 Ntlemeza testified for Mdluli in the murder inquest of Oupa Ramogibe, saying that there was a plot against Mdluli, after Mdluli appointed him to do an investigation on his behalf.
It has recently been reported that the head of the Hawks,Berning Ntlemeza, said in a management meeting, and i quote-"when i am finished with the Hawks,i will be the whitest man here".[As reported on Netwerk24]
One of the first things Ntlemeza did is bring in general Simon Mapyane to Hawks HQ.Genl Mapyane faces fraud charges in Mpumalanga since 2013.
This is a quote from judge Matojane in the High Court this year about Ntlemeza"To further show that the third respondent[Ntlemeza] is dishonest and lacks integrity and honour, he made false statements under oath,"
Ntlemeza said on March 8 this year in City Press:"There is currently no criminal investigation into Nkandla".There is a DA and EFF case in this regard however
This is what Genl Dramat said to minister Nhleko in a letter:"No doubtedly you are aware that I have recently called for certain case dockets involving very influential persons to be brought or alternatively centralised under one investigating arm and this has clearly caused massive resentment against me"[Politicsweb]
Where is the status of the investigations that Dramat talked about now?
I hope I get published. These are important issues
