Blimmin Cellphone in Cinema blikskorrels!

02 July 2012, 21:52
So there I am, trying to watch a lekker moerwie at the fliek house when some Muppet starts messaging on his cellphone somewhere ahead of me.

Blerrie thing is so bright is pulls my attention like a V neck on Dolly Parton!

So I try to close one eye to ignore it but my other eye goois a squinty and it pulls my attention again.

I'm like "Blikskorrel man!'' and lift up my hand to try to blot out the thing from the side but after a while my arm gets tired so I'm like "Blehh".

Obviously the chop has some epic conversation going that is apparently far more entertaining than the movie we are watching.

That says a lot because the movie we are watching is a crazy action thing!

Suddenly the light goes off and I rejoice with a small fist pump. Back to suspension of belief land with epicus coolus movie for about 10 minutes when 3 seats away the light from hell goes on.

I notice everyone checking the chick out and hope the oke next to her will ask her to cover the dang thing but apparently the non confrontation thing is quite widespread these days so I sit there trying to figure out a way to chune the chick to put the thing away without causing too much distraction to everyone around me.

She keeps on typing away on her weapon of mass destraction for a while and I manage to kinda let it fade into my peripheral vision until the light goes out and I'm like "Yeah baby! Back to the moerwie!"

I tell you what, these okes are flippin rude man!

Anyway, I better stop typing this, okes next to me wanna watch the fliek and I think the guy two seats down is gonna make his move.
