Crazy Parenting Style; Part 4

14 March 2014, 12:16
The greatest maternal tragedy for any boy child is the one perpetuated by the loneliness and boredom of his mother. It is  my disguised and often blurry inspection that single mothers have unknowingly developed an emotional obsession with their boy-child to a level equivalent to that of a husband-to-wife affections.

Consequently, their motherly bond sensations they feel towards their boy children develops to a point to father/husband/ replacement. Subtly and involuntary the poor father is likely to drift away in the black hole of his friends company or social media indulgence to compensate for the displaced role served on a platter by the mother to his son.

Perhaps it is only understandable when you get to think about the fears of parents have regarding the future of their children. Consider this consequential fact that there is nothing as nerve breaking as when a parent would helplessly watch the life of her “once-was-cute boy” fades away like melting ice slipping messily in-between fingers. The projective thought that your son will amount to nothing is just torturing as the fear of wondering if they will ever be able to survive in your earthly absence!
