Digilesson #1 - Web Browsing

12 March 2014, 16:34
Surfing the web can be a hassle that no person deserves to deal with. That is unless, of course, you've been neglecting your responsibility to always develop your skills! The World Wide Web contains far too much information for any one individual to sift through in their lifetime, let alone in one sitting.
Thankfully, there are little alcoves scattered all across the web for people to meet and learn more about how the internet can benefit their lives by providing free, near instantaneous access to information, increased efficiency of research, and also quality for users online experiences.
There are many ways to begin this journey on the web. I started with basic browsing, moved on to gaming and finally reached my current level of internet usage: blogging. Needless to say (although I clearly plan to), navigation is perhaps the most important skill i've developed as a surfer, and one I would encourage any person to begin building ASAP.
Here is a link to a webpage that makes users aware of different skills involved with the web, as well as a focused directory for individuals who find themselves with free time to surf the web: digiterminal.weebly.com.
