Imagine a world without guns is what we are told to do. A world that is safe from violence and crime. A world everyone should aspire to and want to live in. The dream come true. If such a world existed as gun control advocates solemnly promise will happen if we get rid of civilian guns, what would we have? Would it be a world of tranquillity, happiness, joy and unimagined safety for all? Crime a thing of the past. Fear and concern removed, replaced by happiness and contentment. How will this promise work if gun control succeeds with this claim of utopia we all seek and desire? If we give up our rights and our guns can we then live in peace and harmony as gun control advocates and government say? Is the promise ours if we hand over our natural God given rights to life and self-defence and our guns to government? Is this all we have to do and this dream of a utopian world will be ours? What gun control and government don't say and deliberately hide is the reality of what they want. Government, police and army will still have all their guns so they can look after us. Supposedly providing all the now disarmed citizens who have no rights to self defence or suitable means of defence with all the safety they could possibly ask for. Naturally this safety will be provided for with government's guns which government claims it can do better and more reliably than citizens. Criminals will be left with stolen, smuggled and thus unregistered guns government cannot remove are never discussed which from all estimates are equal or more than civilian arms. This source of criminal arms is going to magically vanish with the handing in of law abiding civilian guns.. The ANC stockpiles of 50 to 100 tons of illegal smuggled war arms, ammunition and explosives the ANC still has possession of, is according to the ANC absolutely no danger to anyone. We also have tons of conflict guns that have come across the borders from war torn neighbours that will still be out there. Criminals who ship in banned drugs by the ton will now never be able to slip a single gun into the country. Is it possible that gun control and government are being very very economic with the truth in order to deceive citizens and rob them of their rights? The sad reality is that ordinary law abiding citizens will be the only people without guns or protection for self defence and must rely on the police or army which government controls. Government, police, army and criminals will all still have their guns.. I wonder what they will do with them in this world of peace, tranquillity and no crime they promise? It now becomes a question of who can be trusted to provide citizens safety in order that they can live in the promised utopian paradise of gun control. Can the army provide the personal protection that will be needed from armed criminals and government? Can the police or government? There is absolutely no doubt criminals will not. Since neither the army or police provide personal protection, who is going to ensure this promised dream comes true? Who will be safe in this so-called gun free utopian world? Citizens, the army, the police, criminals or government? Governments in the last century killed 262 Million innocent disarmed citizens they did not like in order to remove those that government could not control. That is six times more than were killed in all the wars. Contrary to governments false rhetoric that it can be trusted only a fool would trust government. Citizens will be fooled, swindled and robbed of their natural or God given right to life and self-defence by gun control and government on a false and unobtainable promise. Do we have any examples of what happens when citizens are robbed of their rights and disarmed by governments? Is Nazi Germany an example, China, Soviet Union, Cambodia, Rwanda, Uganda, Guatamala or Turkey and many others? Can governments be trusted with guns by unarmed citizens and relied on to provide the security and safety gun control promises? The answer to that has to be a resounding no, not under any circumstances. That would be an irresponsibly foolish reaction to an obvious lie.
