I did post a comment on above article, but decided to make the comment an article for Political Incorrect and others that believe the same.I think its presumptuous of you, PoliticallyIncorrect, to presume that because I, an atheist, don't believe in the existence of gods, I automatically believe in the Big Bang theory. Atheists do not meet each other weekly to discuss their common belief and live their life according to what it says in science books. It is not a religion.Being an atheist simply means, not believing in gods. We may have conflicting theories to how the universe started and may not agree on anything. We don't have churches, priests, pastors, ministers, leaders and do not contribute a portion of our income to a church. Now, I don't know how the universe started and will probably not know in my lifetime, but I am ok with that.I only understand a fraction of the universe and perhaps there is gods in heaven that somehow created us in their image. If that is the case and there is proof of that, then I will surely question my current belief. Please don't compare atheism to religion, because atheism is not a religion.
